Salary: £76.92 - £95.68 Per Day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Ringwood. This full-time, permanent role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with students who require extra support in their learning journey.
As a SEN TA, you will play a crucial role in helping students develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning. You will assist in creating an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported in their academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities of a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with additional learning needs.
* Assist in implementing personalised learning plans to ensure each student reaches their full potential.
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
* Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback to teaching staff and parents where necessary.
* Foster a safe and nurturing environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves.
* Provide assistance with personal care tasks when required.
* Encourage students to develop independence, self-confidence, and social skills.
SEN TA Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting as a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant.
* Desirable qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Teaching Assistance, or equivalent.
* A degree in Psychology, Education or in a similar field.
* A patient, understanding, and adaptable approach to supporting students with additional needs.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for making a difference in students’ lives.
