Job Title: Debt Collection Agent

Salary: Up to £26,000 (depending on experience) plus monthly performance-based bonus, with realistic earning potential of £30,000+ per year.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Responsibilities:
1. Making and receiving telephone calls to recover outstanding debts.
2. Handling difficult conversations sensitively and professionally.
3. Entering accurate records of conversations and payment agreements into a customer database.
4. Following processes and guidelines regarding debt collection.
5. Working in an open plan contact centre environment to achieve personal and team targets.
6. Accurately entering customer payment details into systems.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a call centre or credit control role.
2. Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Comfortable working to targets with a focus on performance-based earnings.
4. Strong IT skills and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
5. Willingness to make outgoing calls, even in difficult situations.
6. Problem-solving abilities to effectively gather necessary information.
