We are currently recruiting an experienced, professional, and highly motivated individual to join our centralised home support service to cover a temporary promotion. Working closely with the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for operational service delivery within your local community. Your role with include developing and implementing plans, policies and procedures, monitoring quality assurance and leading, directing and deployment of home support resources which meet the needs of people living in North Lanarkshire.
To apply for this vacancy, you must currently hold an HNC, SVQ3 in Social Care or a degree in a relevant discipline, successful applicants must also commit to undertake training to achieve SVQ level 4 in line with registration requirements. Applicants must also have extensive experience working in home support, social work, or care management within a community-based setting.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role and you must be registered or eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
The location of the post is Hallcraig Street, Airdrie, however you will be required to work from other locations at times.
This post will be temporary until 30/05/25 or until the return of the substantive post holder
