Vintage Buying Team Lead
About the team: Vintage Cash Cow is a dynamic, ever-evolving company on a mission to acquire and rehome valuable items from our customers. We’re expanding our Buying Team and looking for a Team Lead to guide and support our agents in achieving their targets and fostering a culture of excellence in customer experience and sales performance.
About the role: As a Vintage Buying Agent Team Lead, you will use your leadership, sales expertise, and customer service skills to guide a team of Vintage Buying Agents. This role is ideal for someone with a strong sales background, excellent leadership abilities, and an appreciation for vintage and antique items. You’ll set the standard for high performance, efficiency, and customer engagement across the team.
In your first three months, you will… As a Team Lead, you’ll focus on integrating with the team, building relationships and understanding our customers and buying process. You’ll begin setting and achieving your team of buying agents’ KPIs in line with the Buying Team Manager’s goals. You will identify training needs during this time and mentor team members to improve their sales and customer-handling skills.
In your first six months, you will… You’ll consistently drive the team to exceed daily and weekly KPIs, working closely with each agent to support their individual growth. You’ll strengthen your team through process improvement and share knowledge with the wider buying team. You’ll drive strategic initiatives to align your team’s performance with Vintage Cash Cow’s broader growth objectives, supporting plans to expand and elevate the customer experience.

* Deliver exceptional customer service across all team interactions.
* Consistently meet and exceed team targets and KPIs.
* Contribute to the growth of Vintage Cash Cow by enhancing team efficiency and customer experience.
* Foster a positive, high-performance environment focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of Buying Agents in managing both inbound and outbound customer calls.
* Provide support on complex customer queries and handle escalations as needed.
* Collaborate with other departments to create a seamless customer experience and enhance service delivery.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
* Proven experience as a Team Lead within a sales or KPI-focused contact centre.
* Strong sales and negotiation skills, including a track record of meeting individual and team KPIs.
* Proficiency in using CRM systems to manage and track team performance.
* Excellent objection handling and customer service skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and work collaboratively within a team.
* Demonstrated ability to foster a positive, high-performing team environment and drive continuous improvement.
