Leisure Assistants are required to assist in carrying out the operational procedures of the KGS Sports Facilities.
You should have experience in dealing with the public and be able to demonstrate good customer care skills. An awareness of Health and Safety requirements is essential.
You will be required to use the Leisure Management software to check-in customers when they arrive and set up equipment ready for bookings. Successful candidates will be expected to have a flexible approach to working hours.
You should have a good general standard of education including literacy and numeracy and an HSE First Aid qualification would be an advantage. Other qualities include an ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative.
You should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service., Disability Confident
