Mechanical Project Manager An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Project Manager to join a leading engineering business specialising in the delivery of mechanical works within the water sector. With a strong pipeline of work across treatment works, pumping stations, and process upgrades, this role offers the chance to take ownership of technically challenging and meaningful projects from initial planning through to completion. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical projects within water treatment and distribution environments * Oversee site activities including installation, commissioning, and coordination of subcontractors * Ensure all works are delivered to programme, within budget, and in line with health and safety standards * Act as the key point of contact for clients and stakeholders throughout project delivery * Work closely with internal teams to manage resources, procurement, and progress reporting Requirements: * Background in mechanical project management, ideally within the water/utilities sector * Experience managing site-based installations and subcontractor performance * Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards in a water-focused environment * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain client relationships * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as needed This is a great opportunity to join a well-established team making a direct impact on the UK’s essential water infrastructure
