Job Title: Lead Practitioner – Community Team
Location: Barnet
Rate: Up to £38.50 per hour
An exciting role has become available at the Barnet London Borough Council for a Lead Practitioner to join their Community team.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will provide leadership and supervision to a team of social workers and support staff, ensuring high standards of practice. You will manage duty by monitoring phones and emails, allocating cases, and quality assuring work. You will deliver and overseeing the delivery of exceptional social care to adults and their carers, you will promote choice and control. You will coordinate and deliver integrated care by working with health professionals and other stakeholders. You will be identifying and responding to safeguarding concerns, you will ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults in accordance with local and national policies. Additionally, you will deliver supervision to your team.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally, you need to hold a full UK driving licence and possess a degree level qualification or equivalent in Social Work.
