We are looking for a part-time Medical Receptionist for a minimum of 19 hours per week to join our friendly, busy practice, situated near Sunderland town centre and close to rail and metro links. The ideal candidate should have reception experience and good IT skills.
They should also possess good communication skills and have an excellent telephone manner. The ability to use own initiative, work under pressure with a willingness to learn is essential. It is necessary to be flexible in approach and work pattern.
The post holder must demonstrate trustworthiness and reliability, possess a cheerful disposition, and be of smart appearance at all times.
Main duties of the job
To provide a fast, efficient, and courteous service in this busy practice. The post holder must be able to work well in a team and also use own initiative. The main duties of the role include answering the telephone, booking appointments, and dealing with patients and health care professionals on a daily basis.
