Description Based at Calder Bridge/Sellafield, Cumbria (Hybrid Working) with travel to other sites Permanent, Full- Time (37.5 hours per week) Salary up to £39,929 per annum plus a generous benefits package The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) is an armed police service dedicated to the nuclear industry. As our Health and Wellbeing Advisor, covering our sites in the North and Scotland, you’ll provide practical fitness support, MSK assessments and practical advice, case management and project support to working groups and initiatives across the CNC. As one of our in-house experts you will provide advice, support and triaging queries for all things fitness and healthy lifestyle within the CNC. You will deliver gym inductions, lead fitness tests and conduct supervised fitness training on-site, and providing lifestyle assessment services across our units. Part of your role will also be to act as the Neurodiversity Workplace Assessor, and work with the wider team to support with the management of neurodiversity cases from a practitioner perspective. To be successful in the role you’ll hold a Degree or equivalent working experience within a Sports Science or Health related subject area, with working knowledge of Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing and HR practices, and the inter-relationships and dependences of the two areas. You’ll have experience of contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, processed and health promotion literature. Personally, you’ll be confident in positive relationship building and communication skills and will be highly adept at analytical and report writing. Due to the nature of the organisation and the role, travel will be required with some occasional overnight stays.
