People Partner Contract Type: Full-time - 12 month FTC At Partou, we believe in creating positive environments—for children, families, and the teams who care for them. As one of the UK's largest childcare providers, we're growing fast and investing in our people every step of the way. We're looking for a People Partner to support our head office and remote teams, helping shape a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work. Why This Role Matters As People Partner, you'll be the first point of contact for our National Support Centre (NSC) teams. Your guidance will help ensure our people feel heard and supported as we continue to grow. What You'll Do Act as a trusted partner to NSC and remote teams, offering practical people support and strategic guidance. Work closely with the People Experience team to align on initiatives that support wellbeing and development. Handle employee relations matters quickly and effectively, creating a safe and open environment for all. Support managers with performance processes, including improvement plans and recognition strategies. Lead engagement and culture-building initiatives across your business areas. Use people data to identify trends, track progress, and drive improvement. Ensure all policies and practices are up to date and compliant with employment law. Contribute to key People & Culture projects, offering insights and ensuring smooth implementation. Support change management and encourage positive adoption of new initiatives. Assist in reviewing and designing roles, supporting reward benchmarking and leading the annual compensation review. Success in this role means improving engagement, supporting performance, and strengthening the employee experience. You'll help launch and embed benefits with high uptake, and work with managers to boost team productivity. Your work will reduce unresolved issues, improve processes, and support the smooth rollout of people-focused projects. Ultimately, you'll help create a workplace where people feel included, valued, and ready to grow. What You'll Bring Proven experience as a People Partner or HR Business Partner. Ideally CIPD qualified. Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance. Experience supporting HR or people-related projects, particularly around tech or systems. Confident working with data and systems, with strong analytical and organisational skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A proactive, adaptable mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. At Partou, we're building something exciting—and people are at the heart of it. You'll join a supportive, forward-thinking team where your voice matters, and where you can make a real impact. We're committed to your growth, and we'll give you the tools and space to thrive.
