The Service Support Officer will be in charge of offering guidance and system support throughout the children's services department, as well as effective and efficient administrative support throughout the division. Assuring exceptional and high-quality customer service for all guests and callers by effectively handling their inquiries is their primary duty when working at the reception desk.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receptionist required. ON-SITE - Monday to Friday, Full time only for Children's Services office offering services to young people, children, and families who visit for face-to-face meetings with their professional workers, contact supervisors, group leaders who hold activities such as cooking groups and choir, and meeting places for any social aspect.
* Must have IT skills to be able to use children's recording online system, MS Teams, MS package.
* Must be confident and able to work on own initiative.
* Knowledge and skills for dealing with health and safety matters - Fire officer knowledge and confidence with the evacuation process, First Aid knowledge desired.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
* Good communication and negotiating skills.
* Demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organisational skills.
* Be computer literate, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Must be able to use own initiative, be confident, and respond to issues arising by escalating or taking action.
* Excellent customer care skills with a professional and sensitive nature to respond to families and children as well as professional visitors.
