As part of our growth, we are looking for a dynamic and proactive IoT Project Delivery Manager (Or Senior Manager depending on experience) who can manage the end-to-end delivery of our projects, build out our installer partner program, and shape the operational foundation of our company.
Role Overview
In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all phases of project delivery—from initial project planning, to on-site installation through to ongoing maintenance. You will also oversee installer recruitment, manage relationships with our installer partners, and optimize internal operational processes. Your insights will shape our product roadmap, especially around our Installer Application and field integration capabilities. This role requires travel for onsite installations and surveys, a valid driver's licence and personal vehicle are required.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Management
* Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from creating project plans, to managing installation onsite, and ongoing maintenance.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all quality standards set by MeterZ and our customers.
* Track and report on project milestones, risks, and progress to relevant stakeholders internally and externally. Manage customer expectations and relationships as part of this process.
Hands-On Field Engineering
* Occasionally assist on large-scale installations to ensure deadlines are met and high quality is maintained.
* Work in the field with our installer partners to provide networking support, and install IoT devices yourself where necessary.
* Perform site surveys and gather information to complete quotes accurately, working with our sales team in a technical capacity.
IoT Technical Support & Troubleshooting
* Provide first-line technical support to customers remotely, gathering the necessary information to escalate issues internally.
* Conduct basic troubleshooting for IoT metering devices within Chirpstack and AWS. Action issues either online or through our installer network.
Installer Partner Program
* Develop and execute strategies to identify, recruit, onboard and train qualified installation partners.
* Maintain and strengthen relationships with these partners to ensure scalable, high-quality installations.
* Negotiate contracts, service level agreements, and performance metrics.
Operational & Process Development
* Establish, document, and refine project delivery processes to optimize efficiency and maintain high standards.
* Create SOPs (standard operating procedures) for installation, maintenance, and customer support.
* Build the foundations for a delivery team, leading the hiring and management of future operations staff.
Product Feedback & Collaboration
* Act as the bridge between the field and our product team, relaying integration or delivery challenges to inform ongoing development.
* Collaborate closely with the product team and software teams to refine and enhance our Installer Application.

* Excellent Communicator: Able to work across teams and communicate effectively with installers, technical staff, and clients.
* Process-Oriented: Strong eye for detail and process improvement; you continually seek ways to make operations more efficient.
* Tech-Savvy: Experience with (or strong interest in) IoT technology, energy management, or field engineering is highly beneficial.
* Proactive Problem-Solver: Resourceful, quick to adapt, and eager to tackle challenges head-on. You’ll need to be a bit of a Swiss army knife.
* Ambitious & Growth-Focused: Motivated by the opportunity to build a team, shape a company’s operations from the ground up, and step into a senior leadership role.
Qualifications & Experience
* 5+ years in an operations or project management role, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
* Technical university degree in electrical, mechanical or network engineering.
* Experience working in a small startup environment is a plus, showcasing adaptability and resourcefulness in dynamic settings.
* Relevant experience with IoT hardware implementation in the built environment, preferably with LoRaWAN networks and Building Management System (BMS) integrations.
* Proven ability to manage external contractors, field engineers, and technology partners effectively to ensure project success.
* Familiarity with end-to-end project management methodologies, including planning, risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
* Willingness to perform on-site installation and commissioning tasks, including wiring/ cabling and using tools such as drills and screwdrivers. Ensuring safe practices when working with installation equipment.
* Travel is required for this role (30%). A valid Driving Licence and personal vehicle is required. We will expense your mileage.
* The ability to engage and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders with varying levels of English competency is critical. Knowledge of European languages is a plus.
