You will oversee and manage all contractual aspects of large facilities management projects, ensuring the successful delivery of services in line with client expectations and company objectives. You will be responsible for managing both the commercial and operational elements of contracts, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and clients. Key Responsibilities: Contract Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of contracts from initial negotiation, drafting, and final agreement through to delivery and closure. Ensure all contractual terms are met and aligned with company goals. Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear, open communication. Financial Management: Manage budgets, costs, and financial performance of contracts, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on time. Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards. Project Delivery: Work closely with project teams to ensure large facilities management projects are delivered effectively, meeting deadlines and quality standards. Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company while maintaining strong client satisfaction. Contract Compliance: Ensure adherence to all contract terms, SLAs, and KPIs. Manage any issues or disputes promptly and professionally. Performance Monitoring: Track the performance of the contracts, ensuring that both internal and external stakeholders meet their obligations. Prepare reports for senior management on contract status, performance, and any issues. Team Leadership: Lead and support a team of contract administrators or project managers to ensure efficient contract delivery. Skills and Qualifications Required: Essential Skills: Contract Management Expertise: Proven experience managing contracts, ideally in the facilities management or construction industry. Legal & Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management within facilities management projects. Project Management Skills: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple large-scale projects simultaneously. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to reach beneficial agreements for both the company and clients. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Financial Management: Experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and cost control within contracts. Problem-Solving & Conflict Resolution: Ability to resolve contractual disputes, negotiate settlements, and deal with any performance issues that arise during the project. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and motivate a team to ensure contract success and client satisfaction. Desirable Skills: Knowledge of Facilities Management Industry Standards: In-depth knowledge of facilities management best practices and industry standards, especially related to large-scale projects. Qualifications: Degree in Business, Law, or a Relevant Field: A relevant degree (such as in Construction Management, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or Law) is preferred. Professional Certifications: MCIPS (Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) NEC or ICE Contract Management training Other relevant industry certifications are highly desirable. Health & Safety Qualifications: Familiarity with Health and Safety regulations (NEBOSH or IOSH certification would be an advantage).
