About You
You will ideally have experience working in a project management position within a warehouse/logistics environment. You will have played a key role in new site openings, whether that be brand new builds or refitting existing units, and your high level of attention to detail will have played a key role in your success to date. Not only will you thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment, but you will also love working with people, engaging with a variety of stakeholders and managing potentially multiple projects at a time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop detailed project plans, outlining project scope, timelines, resources, and key deliverables.
2. Define project objectives and ensure clear understanding of logistics requirements by all stakeholders.
3. Coordinate and oversee the execution of logistics projects, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
4. Serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
5. Communicate regularly with clients, vendors, and team members to provide project updates and manage expectations.
6. Facilitate meetings to track project progress and address any potential issues.
7. Allocate resources efficiently to ensure that project timelines and goals are achieved.
8. Ensure that operations teams have the necessary tools, information, and support to perform their tasks effectively.
9. Manage budgets and project costs, ensuring all expenses are within forecast.
10. Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
11. Resolve issues promptly and escalate to senior management when necessary.
12. Identify areas for process optimisation within the operation and provide recommendations for improvement.
13. Monitor the performance of operations and adjust to improve efficiency.
14. Ensure all processes adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
15. Maintain a high level of quality and accuracy in all project deliverables.
Your Skills And Experience
1. Previous experience in a Project Management position within a warehouse/logistics environment.
2. Experience of new site openings would be advantageous.
3. Demonstrable experience of managing a variety of key projects.
4. Strong organisational skills.
5. Ability to lead and motivate a project team.
6. Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills.
8. High level of attention to detail.
9. Strong understanding of logistics processes.
10. Self-motivated and proactive in approach.
11. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams.

This is a full-time onsite position based from our hub in Northampton with frequent travel required as we grow and add to our site portfolio.
