SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR - OUTSIDE IR35 - RAIL EXPERIENCE
We're currently recruiting a Senior QS to join our client, a well-known tier 2 rail contractor. This is a freelance role on an ongoing basis but initially working on a £20m rail depot upgrade in North London.
You will play a key role in managing costs, contract administration, and ensuring the timely and successful delivery of the project.
The ideal candidate will be able to start either before Christmas or the first week back in January.
Experience required: Senior QS who has worked on rail, station upgrades, depot upgrades, previous TfL projects, civils in a rail environment.
Our client is open to outside of IR35.

* Change Management
* Compensation Events Quotation/Project Management Assessment Negotiations
* Subcontractor Procurement
* Subcontractor Management
* Monthly CVR's
* Management of a Quantity Surveyor

Minimum Requirements:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with a focus on rail projects ideally refurbishment packages
* Experience of working with TfL procedures and regulations
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage project costs and maximise profits
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
* Experience in managing and mentoring a team of Quantity Surveyors.
