SEN TEACHING ASSISTANTS REQUIRED
Position: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Royston / Meldreth
Employment Type: Temporary - Permanent
Salary: £90 - £100 Per day
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Teaching Assistant to provide support in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school based in Meldreth, starting as soon as possible. See details below.
This school caters to children and young adults aged 6 to 19 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), social communication difficulties, and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).
Job Responsibilities:
* Assist the class Senior LSA’s and Teachers with preparing resources to meet the personalised learning intentions of assigned students.
* Provide 1:1 support under the supervision of the class Teacher to deliver skills-based learning.
* Collaborate with the class Teacher to report on progress using an evidence-based approach.
* Empower students to learn by understanding their learning goals and targets, facilitating the practise and acquisition of new skills, and encouraging them to be as independent as possible.
* Contribute to the provision of all necessary support to ensure the students' well-being, ability to function, and engagement in learning.
* Fully comprehend and implement Safeguarding policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of GCSE qualifications in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting is essential for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
