We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our client's growing Projects Team in Widnes. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and managing projects related to chemical dosing systems, specifically for the water treatment industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading engineering company, providing bespoke solutions focused on gas and liquid chemical dosing systems for the water sector. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality engineering designs for chemical dosing systems. Develop cable block diagrams, control panel schematics, control philosophies, and detailed electrical process calculations. Ensure all designs comply with health and safety standards, including the preparation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). Conduct site visits for surveys, client meetings, and to support project delivery. Maintain strong customer relationships by managing client expectations and balancing project demands. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Work independently while also seeking support from colleagues and line managers when needed. Requirements: Proven experience in electrical design, ideally within the water or wastewater treatment industry. Strong background in working within a multidisciplinary project team. Experience in developing detailed designs from feasibility through to execution. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD for electrical design drawings. Adaptable and collaborative, with a proactive approach to teamwork.
