This role is a vital link between Plan, Source, Make and Move functions to enable delivery of supply and scheduled production plans that meet business and customer needs. This will be delivered via highly developed partnerships and adopting an Integrated Business Management approach. Adherence to all supply and scheduling planning processes for operations in Ireland and the UK in line with the objectives of the Beer Category. This position generates scheduled supply plans for domestic and global markets for small pack and keg product on an operational, tactical and strategic basis. The scheduler generates short term plans for call off beer and materials for 35m cases of finished goods across 7 packaging lines. The role will be based in one of our packaging locations. Travel will be required between sites and 3rd Party re-workers.
Responsibilities
* Produce clear and concise scheduled production plans from 0-12 weeks.
* Guarantee availability of product to meet customer demand on time and in full to world-class standards while maximising production efficiency.
* Micromanage short term execution horizon for our 2 packaging plants and rework sites to meet requirements and avoid outsourcing costs.
* Call off liquid, liaising with our St James's Gate brewery, Leven Packaging site and other 3PLs to ensure short to midterm production plan is completed flawlessly.
* Work in partnership with our Brewery to secure the accurate and efficient supply of Beer, Just in Time, to support the Production Plan.
* Work with Procurement, Finance and external suppliers to facilitate and reconcile supplier invoices, based on our SLAs, Payment Terms and Legal obligations.
* Build and maintain excellent relationships with key internal and external partners at all levels within the organisation and leverage these relationships to deliver the Beer Category strategy.
* Play a lead role in running and improving the business, Global Supply Chain Projects, Continuous Improvement agenda, Product Innovation and Renovation Processes, balancing need for flexibility with commitments to service, cost and quality.
* Ensure transparent and flawless cross-functional communications of forward plans across our supply chain (e.g. Procurement, Packaging, Brewing and Logistics).
* This role is crucial in delivering excellent Customer Service to all our Global Markets.
Minimum Requirements
* BSc in Supply Chain, Business Administration or equivalent. APICS Qualified or equivalent.
* Supply chain planning experience in an FMCG would be advantageous.
* Good knowledge and understanding of Demand and Supply Planning, Operations, Logistics and Route to Market is desirable.
* People management experience with a proven track record leading in a planning function.
* Excellent IT and numerical skills, to exploit benefits of SAP ECC6, SAP APO SNP, Business Warehouse and BEX Analyser.
