As a Senior Care Assistant, we ask for you to care for our residents like they are your own family, addressing their physical, psychological, and social needs. You will assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and assisting with meals. Additionally, you will be responsible for the medication round and leading the shift. We welcome applications from candidates who have previously worked as a Senior Care Assistant, Care Giver, Homecare Worker, or Community Support Worker, as we provide full training. Candidates without previous senior experience but with a passion for care and a valid qualification are also encouraged to apply.

About You:

* Level 3 in Health & Social Care or care certificate (desirable, not essential as all training is provided).
* Previous experience in a Care Home environment (desirable but not essential).
* Experience leading a team.
* A committed and organized approach.
* A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Flexibility to work shifts.

Other Duties:
- Attend staff meetings.
- Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs of the home and participate in appropriate training.
- Ensure understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and develop skills to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults needing care and support.
- Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation to work in a safe environment.
- Complete all training as determined by the home.
