Job Description:
Mission:
The Business Engagement Team fosters strong, collaborative relationships between Digital Solutions and the business teams. They ensure that technology investments and solutions are closely aligned with business goals, driving innovation, helping to solve key business challenges and enabling sustainable growth. They provide insights to many stakeholder groups regarding the performance of Digital Solutions.
This role can be based in any of the 8 Leonardo UK offices, and our Custom Working approach allows a balance between home and office working. To be effective in this role, an in-office presence of 2-3 days each week is expected, as well as travel to other UK sites.
Key Role Activities:
1. Act as a bridge between the Digital Solutions Function and Divisions/Corporate Functions, ensuring Digital Technology aligns with the company's strategy and objectives.
2. Manage a team of Business Partners embedded within the Divisions/Corporate Functions.
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, understand their challenges and translate these into requirements and business outcomes.
4. Act as an interface between Digital Solutions and Divisions/Corporate Functions to navigate and communicate the Digital Solutions Operating Model and the various fulfilment channels across Foundational IT (Employee Experience and Backbone), Digital Capabilities (Cloud Ops, Innovation, Applications and Business Transformation) and Data.
5. Coach business leaders in developing business digital vision, roadmaps and help them understand how Digital Technology can achieve or accelerate their vision.
6. Coach business leaders on the challenges of implementation and the through-life cost of new capabilities.
7. Lead on Communications and Change Adoption of new Digital Technologies within the business.
8. Ensure Digital Solutions costs are embedded into future programmes bids, where digital and data technologies are required.
9. Lead the Annual Budget and Investment Process for all Future Demand.
10. Help launch new Digital Solutions Programmes with confidence, including business case development and requirement capture.
11. Articulate the Value of Digital Investments via the Value Management Office.

* Strong Stakeholder engagement skills.
* An understanding and passion for how Digital Technology can optimise and transform business processes and end user experience.
