About the role: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Administrator to join our team based in Stafford to support the operations management team and Senior Quantity Surveyors. The role is based at Grindley House Farm with the option of hybrid working. Location: Grindley House Farm, Stowe-by-Charterley, Stafford Hours: 37.5 Hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08.30am-16.30pm) Salary: £28,000 per annum Responsibilities – but not limited to: Assist in the valuation of works Support in production of Applications for Payment Raising Purchase Orders Facilitate production of cost reporting Aid collection and collation of data Support Subcontract procurement and payment Maintain accurate records Experience and qualifications required for the role: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly knowledge of Microsoft Excel Previous invoicing experience Raising Purchasing Orders Month end reporting Ability to manage own time and work to business priorities and deadlines Good communication and interpersonal skills Working in a commercial department would be advantageous Driving licence would be advantageous due to the rural location Skills and behaviours: Enthusiastic and energetic approach to people and projects Team player Forward thinking and keen to develop smarter delivery of work Well organised Highly motivated Good communicator Numerically competent Ability to work under pressure Positive attitude towards problem solving What we offer: 24 Days holiday plus Bank Holidays Pension Death in service Training and progression opportunities Hybrid working This position is open to Internal and External candidates.
