About the Role
Are you an experienced Motor Vehicle professional with a passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of automotive engineers? We are looking for a Lecturer in Motor Vehicles to join our dynamic team. You will deliver engaging lessons, provide hands-on training, and support learners in developing the skills needed for a successful career in the motor vehicle industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver high-quality teaching and practical training in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
2. Plan, assess, and evaluate student progress in line with curriculum requirements.
3. Provide industry-relevant knowledge, ensuring students develop practical skills.
4. Support learners in achieving qualifications at various levels (e.g., IMI, City & Guilds).
5. Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment in workshops and classrooms.
6. Stay up to date with industry advancements and integrate them into teaching.
Requirements
1. Relevant qualification in Motor Vehicle Engineering (Level 3 or above).
2. Teaching qualification and experience.
3. Industry experience in vehicle maintenance, repair, diagnostics, or related areas.
4. Strong communication and mentoring skills.
5. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment.
