About the Company:
ATA are working with Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK at their world class manufacturing facility in Burnaston, Derbyshire. We are supporting them on a recruitment drive to add an experienced mechanical engineer to their growing team. About the Role:
The mechanical engineer will join TMUK's facilities division responsible for all the onsite infrastructure, from the buildings, lighting, heating, waste management systems right through to the distribution of electricity. As a Facilities Engineer, you will be working on valuable projects to replace and improve equipment to meet Toyota's group energy targets and legal compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Working alongside the onsite facilities maintenance team.
2. Working with & managing external contractors.
3. Project management from conception to completion.
4. Supporting with CO2 & Energy reduction.
5. Manage contracts for safety and legislative areas such as gas, fire, pressure vessels, and lifting equipment.
About You:
To be considered for this mechanical engineer role, you should have/be the following:
1. Experience working within a high-volume manufacturing environment (Desirable).
2. Previous experience working within a facilities environment would be beneficial.
3. Technical understanding of pumps and motors would be beneficial.
4. Evidence of new equipment installation.
5. Mindset for continuous improvement.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Project management capability.
8. Full right to work in the UK and hold a UK driving license.
9. This role would suit somebody who has completed an engineering degree within any discipline.
