About the Role
As the Industrial Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving business growth across the South West and South East of England. This is a dynamic, customer-facing position focused on generating new opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and promoting our full range of industrial products including Valves and Piping solutions.
You’ll act as a vital link between our customers and the business—delivering technical solutions, providing on-site support, and working closely with colleagues across the UK and internationally. With a strong foundation in engineering or technical sales, you will also support regional sales teams, provide product training, and contribute to overall commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop new customers, contracts, and projects within the industrial sector
* Generate and follow up on leads, quotations, and sales opportunities
* Support customers directly and through coordination with internal teams
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
* Troubleshoot issues and provide hands-on technical solutions
* Deliver technical support and product training as required
* Prepare and submit accurate reports and documentation in a timely manner
* Collaborate with the sales office and other departments to ensure excellent service
What We’re Looking For
* Technical experience of selling Valves and Piping equipment
* Proven experience of selling to industrial customers
* Familiarity with engineering products, technical terminology, and tolerances
* Knowledge of sales processes and relationship management
* Commercially aware and customer-focused
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to travel across the South West and South East of England
* Experience delivering technical training and customer support
* Confident negotiator with a proactive, hands-on approach
* Technically proficient and detail-oriented
* Ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships
