Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Physiotherapy Operational Site Lead to work as part of the new Clinical Operating Model for Therapies and Dietetics at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. You will be managing the Physiotherapy service at St Richards Hospital (Chichester), working with the Therapy Site Lead and the Professional Lead for Physiotherapy as part of a highly motivated team. This post is part of a Clinical Operating Model across Therapies at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust and affords some fantastic opportunities to broaden your operational and leadership skills with colleagues from within physiotherapy and also across Therapies. We look forward to supporting your development in the leadership and management of a busy department. This post is available at full time ( per week) but we will also consider applicants who can offer at least (30 hrs per week).

Job responsibilities
Responsible and accountable for operational and clinical management and delivery of the inpatient Physiotherapy services and non-MSk / POGP Physiotherapy outpatient services (Cardiac Rehab, Pulmonary Rehab, Respiratory, Neurology, Spasticity Clinic, Home Oxygen Service, Paediatrics, ITU Follow Up clinics). In conjunction with the Physiotherapy Leadership team contribute to planning, development and performance of the Physiotherapy service across University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust.
To actively promote and develop equality and diversity practices and delivery in order to promote equity of access of care for patients and equity of access to job opportunities and development opportunities for staff.
Continue to maintain a clinical caseload (minimum 1 day a week) as an autonomous practitioner, providing specialist assessment and treatment within the designated area.
Uses professional and clinical leadership in the development and implementation of a comprehensive training and personal development plan for all Physiotherapy staff and in conjunction with the Physiotherapy Leadership team strives to ensure excellence of Physiotherapy-related training across the whole organisation.
Responsible with the other members of the Physiotherapy Leadership team for maintaining and improving all aspects of clinical governance, evidence-based practice and quality assurance for the Physiotherapy service.

1. Professional Degree/Diploma Physiotherapy
2. Relevant Masters Level qualification or equivalent
3. HCPC Registration as a Physiotherapist
4. Experience of Team Lead Management as Band 7
