N586 Procurement Analyst Role Profile
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to embark upon a career in Procurement and support the Council in procuring the goods, services, and works it needs to deliver the 300+ services to the City of Plymouth.
As a Procurement Analyst, you will become part of the Council’s Procurement Service responsible for putting in place contracts across categories including Construction, Environment, Transport and Waste, Facilities Management, and Corporate and Professional Services.
You will run procurement processes, provide procurement advice and guidance to the Council, and support the organisation to deliver the Council’s Procurement Strategy to maximise the benefits of Council spending for the local economy, community, and environment, reduce risk, and drive value for money.
This position is a career grade role, offering the successful candidates the ability to progress through three grades by way of a combination of qualification and experience. On-the-job training will be provided, and there is also the potential to obtain fully-funded diploma, advanced diploma, and professional diploma level qualifications in Procurement.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience of working in a similar purchasing or administrative role is essential.
