A well-respected general Accountancy Practice located in Camberley, Surrey is seeking an efficient and adaptive Tax Manager to join their well-established practice on a full-time, permanent basis.
They will be tasked with running a portfolio of personal tax clients within the business whilst also being an expert in trust tax, offering advisory services to the existing clients. The position offers a salary of up to £65,000 alongside 25 days of annual leave + bank holidays.
Tax Manager Job Overview
1. Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients.
2. Offer advisory on the following taxes: Personal Tax, Trust Tax, Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, VAT, Research and Development, P11D, Form 42, and tax planning.
3. Assist and train colleagues in Trust tax.
4. Maintain detailed working knowledge of the impact of tax in respect of changes to accounting standards and guidelines.
5. Prepare the more complex Personal Tax Returns, along with reviewing working paper files prepared by other members of the team.
Tax Manager Job Requirements
1. Experience with trust tax & personal tax.
2. ATT/CTA qualified.
3. Experience within a similar role is essential.
4. Client and deadline driven.
Tax Manager Salary & Benefits
1. £50,000 - £65,000 per annum.
2. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising yearly with service.
