We are currently representing a talented Design Studio based in East Sussex that are actively looking for an Interior Designer to join their team. This studio specialises in high-end Residential Interior Architecture so the successful Interior Designer will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects within this sector.
Our client is seeking an Interior Designer that is highly skilled and creative with UK Residential experience. Key responsibilities will include reporting to the Directors, being involved with working from initial brief through to completion, managing clients, producing technical detailed drawings, plans and elevations as well as preparing schedules, specifications and drawings for tender stages.
Interior Designer Job Overview
1. Be involved with a variety of design projects from initial brief through to completion
2. Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing clients
3. Source and procure FF&E, soft furnishings and accessories
4. Produce detailed technical drawings, plans and elevations
5. Prepare schedules, specifications and drawings for tender
6. Attend site with clients or suppliers
7. Support the wider team; including both Senior and Junior Designers
8. Complete site inspections and surveys
9. Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers
Interior Designer Job Requirements
1. Living in or around the East Sussex area
2. Relevant Degree Qualified; 3 + Years Professional Experience
3. Strong FF&E experience
4. Experience and knowledge within Residential Interior Architecture
5. Knowledge of High-End, Luxury Residential suppliers; highly advantageous
6. Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, EstiMac and Apple Mac
7. Full UK Driving License
8. Knowledge of bespoke furniture and joinery design
9. Excellent time management and organisation skills
Interior Designer Salary & Benefits
Salary; £30,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
Holiday; 23 Days + Bank Holidays
