Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Technical Officer (ATO) to join our busy team in the Pharmacy Technical Services will be rotating within the Technical Services department at Northwick Park Hospital which will involve the manufacture of non-sterile andsterile 'specials' in our large manufacturing will also be working within the pre-packing unit which would involve liaising with stores staff on products to be ordered and planning theworkload on a daily will be involved in the over-labelling of products as well as packing and labelling products from bulk. You will be responsible for putting pre-packed products on the computer system as well as working in dispatch which will involve supplying manufactured products to other hospitals andretail department actively promotes development, education and training. To apply you will need to have good standard of education to GCSE levelor equivalent as you will be required to complete either the NVQ level 2 in pharmaceutical services or equivalent.Successful completion of an online English and Mathematics assessment is required to allow for an invitation to interview.
Main duties of the job
To help support the specials business in sterile and non-sterile.-To assist in the manufacture of sterile/non-sterile products including injections, liquids, gels, powders and suppositories.-To assist in compliance of the Sterile/Non-sterile unit to GMP and licensing requirements-To co-ordinate, manage and assist in the pre pack operation.-To support the supply and delivery of goods to customers.-Deal with any customer queries regarding product sales.-Provide a medicine top up service of stock items to wards and departments which includes checking medicines stock levels, expiry dates andordering further details, please see job description.
