We are recruiting for a well-established precision engineering company in Rotherham, specialising in high-quality CNC machining and manufacturing. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Quality Control Inspector with an engineering background who is eager to develop their skills in quality control.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in machining, tooling, or general engineering who wants to step into a quality-focused role. You will be responsible for ensuring that all components meet strict quality standards before they are delivered to customers. Training will be provided, but a solid engineering foundation is essential.
Key Responsibilities of a Quality Control Inspector:
* Inspecting machined components to ensure they meet customer specifications
* Using a range of measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
* Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
* Assisting in identifying and resolving quality issues in production
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in quality control
* Documenting and reporting quality checks accurately
Requirements of a Quality Control Inspector:
* Engineering background – experience in machining, tooling, or CNC manufacturing is beneficial
* A keen interest in quality control and attention to detail
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Experience using measuring tools such as verniers and micrometers
* Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
