Support the Net Zero Team in the Design and Deliver of Sustainable Energy Solutions as a Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer. You will work on a variety of mechanical engineering projects across Power Grids, Energy Storage and Hydrogen, and Power and Industrial Assets divisions whilst supporting a dedicated engineering team. About the Role: • Lead technical aspects of mechanical engineering projects across the entire lifecycle • Work closely with clients to deliver various projects in the net zero division of the business • Manage an engineering team by mentoring junior engineers, coordinating meetings etc. About You: • Degree qualified mechanical engineer with experience in a highly regulated industry like power, chemical, oil and gas designing to European standards (PED) • People management experience – supporting junior engineers, co-ordinating teams etc. • Strong technical background in pressure design calculations on static equipment, such as pipes, valves, heat exchangers, vessels for high pressure gases or liquids etc. • Knowledge of industry standards e.g. BSEN 13480, 12592, 7910, ASME B31, VIII Key Information: • Role: Senior OR Principal Mechanical Engineer (People Focus) • Salary: £50,000-£80,000 Depending On Experience • Location(s): Glasgow or Bristol • Hybrid Working: 2-3 Days a Week On-Site Per Week Key Skills: Mechanical engineering, pressure parts design, design calculations, PED standards Are you looking for a variety of work contributing towards the creation of a more sustainable future?
