Farm Operations Supervisor About Us: We are a well-established co-operative farming business specializing in the production of speciality vegetable crops for retail and wholesale markets. With over 50 years of industry experience, we are committed to growing high-quality produce and continuously expanding and diversifying our operations. The Role: We are looking for a motivated and experienced Farm Operations Supervisor to support our day-to-day farming activities. This is a diverse and hands-on role that evolves throughout the season. You will play a key part in crop management, machinery oversight, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities: Crop Monitoring: Work alongside an agronomist to ensure crops are grown to the highest standard. Irrigation & Crop Husbandry: Oversee watering schedules and general crop care. Procurement: Manage the sourcing of essential farm inputs. Team Management: Lead a small team, ensuring motivation, efficiency, and high performance. Field Operations: Assist in planting, robotic weeding, harvesting, and packing of seasonal crops. Machinery & Maintenance: Operate and oversee tractors, forklifts, and other farm machinery. Winter Work (Nov–Mar): Engage in general farm maintenance and plan for the next growing season. Who We're Looking For: Experience managing seasonal labor in the horticultural sector. A proactive and hands-on approach with a willingness to learn about different crops. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Experience with farm machinery (tractors, forklifts, irrigation systems) is beneficial, but training can be provided.
