Flexibility: Support for alternative working hours, compressed hours, remote working Exciting Projects: Work on diverse projects across the South West and beyond Career Development: Opportunities to progress in a forward-thinking and supportive environment Location: Near Bristol, with easy access to the M5 What You Will Be Doing: Leading electrical building services designs across a variety of new and refurbished buildings Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, builders and surveyors to create holistic design solutions Managing projects from feasibility to detailed design and onto site, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget Supervising installations, overseeing commissioning and assessing contractor work Developing and supporting junior engineers to enhance their skills and career progression Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards Contributing to our client’s commitment to net-zero operations and low-carbon solutions Preparing fee proposals and negotiating pricing strategies with clients What We’re Looking For: Proven track record of successfully delivering UK building services projects and familiarity with RIBA work stages An awareness of BIM is advantageous and working knowledge of the following design packages is desirable but not essential: Dialux Revit, AutoCAD, ElectricalOM Ultimate Ability to lead projects confidently, both in design and on-site and work collaboratively with construction teams A proactive, solutions-focused approach A confident communicator who excels in meetings, presentations and written work Passion for developing junior engineers and fostering a positive team environment Degree/HND/HNC qualified; CIBSE membership preferred with a focus on professional development To apply, please submit a copy of your up-to-date CV clearly indicating your relevant experience.
