Provision: Children's Home, 7 to 17, EBD 4 Bed
Salary: £31,200 Base Salary + £60 per sleep. = c£38,400
Location: Chorley
Reporting to: Deputy / Registered Manager
Desired Qualification: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare OR equivalent

* Senior Residential Support Workers (Also known as Team Leaders) go above and beyond to help children who have experienced a difficult past to forge positive pathways towards a brighter future.
* Shift Pattern: You will work condensed shifts of two days on, and 4 days off with one additional day per month, on average.

Main Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Assistant/Deputy Manager, you will be the lead practitioner on shift. You will mentor, support and coach new team members and draw upon your extensive experience to manage any challenges that may arise. No two days are the same. You will work collaboratively with the education, therapy, and outdoor teams as well as colleagues from the wider sector, keeping the children at the heart of all you do. What we are looking for:
You have achieved Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Residential Childcare / Children and Young People’s Workforce. Ideally, you will have experience in the Residential Children's Services sector or have worked in a similar setting working with children with challenging behaviour.
