We are currently looking for an experienced Cardiac Physiologist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Weston-Super-Mare, which is easily accessible via public transport.

Your main responsibilities as a Cardiac Physiologist:
16. Perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with BSE minimum data set and local reporting guidelines
17. Ensure quality assurance checks on equipment and action as appropriate
18. Submit reports and archive study images in accordance with contractual requirements and local SOPs
19. Liaise with relevant hospital departments and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals
20. Support with patient bookings, ensuring patient information systems are maintained
What we are looking for in a Cardiac Physiologist:
21. Experience of performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms
22. Hold British Society of Echocardiography accreditation (or equivalent), or be currently collating log-book cases for your BSE practical
23. A full UK driving license
24. A full understanding of the implications of the Data Protection Act, Information Governance Statement of Compliance and Caldicott Principles
25. A willingness to embrace new thinking and new technologies
26. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
