The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hotel Maintenance Team Member to join our team. As a member of the hotel maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance and repair work to ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out regular maintenance and repair work on the hotel's equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
2. Responding promptly to any maintenance requests or emergencies, and addressing them in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Conducting regular inspections of the hotel's facilities and equipment to identify any maintenance issues and ensure that they are addressed promptly.
4. Keeping accurate records of all maintenance work, including expenses, work completed, and parts used.
5. Assisting with the implementation of preventative maintenance programs to ensure that all equipment and facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.
6. Assisting with the management of external contractors and suppliers, including ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
7. Adhering to health and safety guidelines and ensuring that all maintenance work is carried out safely.
8. Assisting with other tasks and projects as required by the Maintenance Manager or senior management.

Ideal Candidate
26. Previous experience working in a maintenance role in a hotel or similar environment.
27. Strong technical skills and a good understanding of building and facility systems.
28. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
29. The ability to work well as part of a team.
30. A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work evenings and weekends if required.
31. A good understanding of health and safety guidelines and procedures.
