Job Introduction
As a Cleaning and Waste Supervisor based in RAF Brize Norton, Carterton. You will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-quality cleaning and waste management services. You’ll oversee operational performance, lead a motivated team, and manage third-party contracts, all while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all cleaning and waste management operations in line with contract requirements and Sodexo service standards.
* Lead, direct and support your team to consistently deliver high standards and service excellence.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards, including regular audits and safety walks.
* Maintain strong financial oversight – monitoring budgets, managing costs, and driving continuous improvement.
* Build and maintain strong client and customer relationships through regular engagement and exceptional service delivery.
* Contribute to business planning, performance reviews and strategic development initiatives.
* Support recruitment, training, and development of your team, promoting a culture of engagement and high performance.
* Maintain professional standards in documentation, reporting, and day-to-day operations.
* What We’re Looking For
Essential:
o Experience in a management role within soft FM services.
o Strong leadership and team management skills.
o Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
o Sound knowledge of health & safety and food safety regulations.
o Confident with IT systems including Microsoft Office.
o Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team.
* Desirable:
o Previous experience in a military or highly regulated environment.
o IOSH Managing Safely or similar health & safety qualification.
o Technical knowledge across soft FM areas including catering, cleaning, and hospitality.
o Demonstrated success in client relationship management within a contract environment.
