A teacher is required to teach Spanish after Easter half term for 9-12 months. The position is temporary to cover maternity leave. The role is part-time approximately 24 hours per week. Ideally, the teacher should also be able to teach French.
To apply for this position, you will require QTS with experience in teaching in the UK and be able to deliver lessons in Spanish to Y7 to Y11 in line with the current National Curriculum. Planning and marking will be required. You must also be comfortable delivering lessons to all pupil abilities and be flexible in your approach to teaching.
Applicants need the right to work in the UK and to be prepared to undergo compliance checks to ensure they are suitable to work with children. This includes having a DBS certificate on the update service and providing two referees.
Applicants for this position of Spanish teacher will initially be screened over the telephone to assess suitability and then be invited for an interview with the agency prior to the interview with the school.
