Job Description
* Designing, testing and refining industrial manufacturing products.
* Utilising computer-aided design tools (SolidWorks and AutoCAD) to create technical blueprints and diagrams.
* Collaborating with the wider engineering team to optimise product performance.
* Conducting research to stay abreast of the latest industry trends.
* Ensuring designs meet legislative and safety requirements.
* Assisting in product troubleshooting and rectification.
* Developing prototypes for testing and evaluation.
* Providing technical guidance to junior team members.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Mechanical Design Engineer should have:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
* SolidWorks and AutoCAD technical ability.
* A strong understanding of mechanical systems and design principles.
* Proficiency in computer-aided design software.
* Knowledge of relevant safety and legislative standards.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
