At TS Travels Group, we are looking for an individual who has a background in operation and logistics, proactive and keen to tackle new challenges.
About the Role
As an Operations Manager you will play a significant key role ensuring to maintain efficient running of our day-to-day operations. Being a hands-on role requires logical thinking, strong leadership with the ability to resolve challenges on the go.
In your role, some duties will include:
1. Liaising with General Manager and Director in resolving operational challenges
2. Managing customer relations, their bookings and their quotes
3. Ensuring vehicles are presented clean and correctly allocated for duties
4. Overseeing driver and vehicle allocations providing clear work instructions
5. Monitoring staff performance and implementing development strategies
6. Overseeing compliance, maintenance, including driver hours and daily checks
7. If required, assisting with driving duties wherever necessary
About You
We’re looking for individual who has:
* Experience in operations and supervising teams
* Proactive mindset and calm under pressure
* Strong communication and can adapt to different clients and staff
* Excellent organisational skills
* Good computer skills, with experience using MSOffice and booking systems
* Knowledge about driver hours, compliance, and route planning
* A flexible approach to working shifts and manage peak operational demands
Ideal Requirements:
* Previous experience in a management or supervisor role
* Operational and logistics background
* Valid UK driving licence with at least 2 years PSV experience and in date CPC
* Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check
