Opus people solutions on behalf of Northampton Children's Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join their Duty and Assessment Team. As a social worker within our Duty and Assessment Team your work will revolve around caseloads, including children under Child Protection, Child in Need, and Looked After Children plans. This is a crucial role – it will include conducting visits to children and their families, completing assessments and engaging in direct safeguarding work to protect the wellbeing and safety of young people. You will also participate in strategy discussions, facilitate safety planning, conduct Section 17 Single Assessments and Section 47 enquiries. You will have the opportunity to work with children and young people on a short-term basis after the initial referral until your cases transfer from the DAAT to other teams. If you are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others and possess the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity as a Social Worker
