Fulbridge Social Care - Residential Youth Worker
Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting both experienced and non-experienced Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team. The role involves working in children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We seek flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals interested in working within a specialist environment where full training and qualifications are provided.
The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behavior and complex needs. Our goal is to create an environment that caters to their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons and have diverse disorders, behaviors, and needs. Candidates should have the confidence, patience, and skills to positively impact their lives.
Responsibilities include supporting young people with daily tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. You will also interact with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers, supporting young people in environments like classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A valid driving license is essential, as you will be required to drive the unit car and take young people to destinations such as family contacts, school, and social activities.
Applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully undergo our induction program before placements are offered.
