Job description
Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Planner in Central London on a full time permanent basis for a Housing Association. This Senior Financial Planner role is paying up to £74, per annum.
The Senior Financial Planner will be a strategic, long-term thinker who will play a vital role in helping shape the medium to long term business plans whilst evolving with everyday needs of the organisation.
Main Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Planner:
1. Develop and align medium and long-term financial plans with the strategic business plan.
2. Continuously update financial models based on economic conditions, business strategies, and market trends.
3. Provide insightful analysis to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
4. Collaborate with various departments to integrate financial plans with operational and strategic objectives.
5. Analyse and stress test financial scenarios, assess risks and opportunities, and manage large data sets accurately.
Person Specification of the Senior Financial Planner:
6. Possess a CCAB-accredited accounting qualification with continuous professional development.
7. Demonstrated success in financial planning and utilising financial planning systems.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging with diverse audiences and fostering collaboration.
9. Skilled in strategic thinking and capable of analysing complex data to create solutions and make informed decisions.
10. Experienced in impacting operational activities at both tactical and strategic levels.
11. Proficient in Excel; familiarity with MS Dynamics and Power BI is a plus.
12. Competent in managing, evaluating, and developing staff to ensure high performance.
