Who You Are You are an experienced Social Worker with comprehensive knowledge and experience across the child welfare system. You possess essential expertise in child protection and court proceedings. You excel in strength-based work with children and their families, ensuring their safety and wellbeing. You have outstanding communication skills, thorough knowledge of child care legislation, and the capability to collaborate effectively with a child's support network, multi-agency partners, and team colleagues. You are three years post-qualified, registered with Social Work England, and free from any annotations or practice restrictions. You have a valid full driver’s license and own a vehicle. What the Job Involves This position involves implementing NYC’s defined practice model, which is grounded in systemic principles, signs of safety, and family seeing methodology. You will work from the office and are required to collaborate closely with children, families, agency partners, and colleagues to promote a safe and thriving environment for children. The role aligns with the following schedule: Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Your responsibilities will require you to engage effectively within multi-disciplinary teams, maintaining compliance with new agency regulations and protocols.
