If so, the Customer Service Administrator role could be for you Our client is a manufacturer of precision components to a variety of industries worldwide. They are an established global leader in the technical marketplace, offering more than 100,000 state-of-the-art products used for measurement and process control across many industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Customer Service Administrator to the team in Irlam, Manchester. The Role Working Mon-Friday 8.30am-5pm (Flexible hours), the Customer Service Administrator will work to drive efficient deliveries by managing internal processes to support customer requirements. The main responsibilities will include: Resolve customer queries via telephone and email in a pleasant and effective manner. Liaise with other departments to find alternative products and solutions to customer queries. Maintain contact with vendors and shipping services to ensure deliveries are arriving on time. Notify customers in a timely manner if deliveries are going to be late. Arrange collections and deliveries with domestic and international freight forwarders.(when required) Analyse supplier performance and source alternative vendors (if required) Support Internal Customers such as: Customer Service, Sales, Accounts, International Subs, etc. Create purchase orders for customer orders and for direct and indirect materials (When required) Dealing with 3PL partner & warehouse with any product/administration related queries Expediting customer orders with internal and external supply centres. Arranging export paperwork with the Chamber of Commerce when required. Dealing with carriers regarding problems with deliveries. Dealing with Customer/Export questionnaires to release orders for shipment. Dealing with customer queries in the post sales environment Provide key customers with weekly reports on order statuses What We Are Looking For The Customer Service Administrator will have a strong background in order processing, ideally within an international manufacturing business. You should be/have: Competent in the use of IT systems such as email, Microsoft Office (primarily Excel), ERP and CRM. Experience of working within a manufacturing environment and processing orders with current customers. Experience of working with logistics/carriers would be beneficial but not essential Experience in a similar customer service role Work effectively as an individual and as part of a team. Willingness to go that ‘extra mile’ to deliver overall customer satisfaction. Experience of dealing with customer complaints Able to work across nationalities and geographies, ensuring the voice of customer is respected. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to project a professional image. What is On Offer The Customer Service Administrator will receive a competitive basic salary of between £25,000 to £27,500 dependent on experience.
