Job Title: Heavy Side Products Leader
We are seeking an experienced sales leader to drive the growth of our heavy side product range at Nicholls and Clarke Group, a leading manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of building materials throughout the UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, overseeing product portfolios, and building strong relationships with suppliers. With a strong knowledge of construction materials, particularly aggregates, timber, and roofing, you will lead the sales strategy for heavyside products and identify new business opportunities within the construction and building sector.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the sales strategy for heavyside products, including bricks, blocks, aggregates, timber, drainage, and roofing.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction and building sector.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, and suppliers.
* Oversee product pricing, inventory, and supply chain logistics in collaboration with procurement teams.
* Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies.
* Ensure exceptional customer service and prompt resolution of any customer issues.
* Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing and operations, to ensure smooth product delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall profitability of the business.
* Promote sustainable practices within the product range, supporting the company's environmental initiatives.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales leadership role within a builders' merchant, focusing on heavy side products.
* Strong knowledge of construction materials, particularly heavy side products such as aggregates, timber, and roofing.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to analyse market data and develop strategic sales plans.
* Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
