An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dynamic dietitian, to join the community team at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust (HCT) in West Herts Intermediate Care team as part of the Integrated Nutrition and Dietetics Service and is split between the dietetic care of home visits, clinics, care homes and home enteral feeding depending on service needs. This band 6 post will be based Sandridge Gate Business Centre in St. Albans and is part time at 0.5 WTE. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic dietitian open to innovation, with excellent communication and team working skills to join our team. The post holder will work in collaboration with a variety of professionals, community staff and care agencies. This post joins a larger team of dietitians working across Hertfordshire within a number of specialties including paediatrics, neurology, home enteral feeding and diabetes. We work in collaboration with other Trusts and stakeholders providing aspects of dietetic care topatients within Hertfordshire. As part of our service we work in conjunction with our partners Hertfordshire Independent Living Service and Age UK Hertfordshire with focus on care home education and tackling social causes of malnutrition.
