Job Description: Electrical Engineer
As an Electrical Engineer, you will report into the Lead Shift Engineer. You will be responsible for ensuring continuous running of the production machines by minimizing downtime during day-to-day operations, PPM's fault finding, and repair.

Description
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Maintain plant and equipment according to manufacturer's instructions.
2. Identify spare parts for repairs using machine manufacturer's manuals and order through stores.
3. Maintain electrical standards and record in accordance with ISO 9001 and 9002.
4. Follow up on outstanding issues to a successful conclusion.
5. Maintain and improve plant efficiency through planned PPMs of production machines.
6. Carry out weekly detailed inspections and maintain log and defect report sheets.
7. Complete detailed daily logbook reports.
8. Report any dangerous occurrences or unsafe machine conditions.
9. Carry out SUSA discussions and monthly internal safety audits.
10. Undergo training as required by the needs of the business.
11. Perform any other duties within the limits of the skills and capabilities of the post holder.
Profile
The successful candidate must hold an electrical engineering qualification (ideally at least HND L5) and have experience working in an FMCG production environment. Ideal candidates will have experience with:
1. Steam systems
2. Hydraulics
3. Pneumatics
4. PPM/TPM maintenance operations
5. PLCs, HMIs, AC and DC motors, drivers, and inverters
You must also be able to work on your own initiative, be proactive and can problem-solve, have a meticulous eye for detail, work within a team environment, and have good communication and IT skills.
Job Offer
Salary of £46,716
Current shift pattern is a 12-hour shift working across days and nights, on a 36-hour working week.
