Excellent Salary/Package dependent on skills and experience Home Working & Peterborough Office Permanent 37 hours per week A great leadership opportunity has arisen in our Delivery Portfolio Team to drive the delivery of several key portfolios in our Capital Delivery Programme with works delivered through our strategic alliances. This is a senior role and you will be accountable for the efficient delivery of these portfolios of work on behalf of Anglian Water, working closely with the delivery teams and key business stakeholders. The role also acts as the chair of the monthly Portfolio Board which holds delegated authority on behalf of Anglian Water's main investment body to ensure we deliver value for money and exceptional levels of customer service. What does it take to be a Strategic Portfolio Delivery Manager? Educated to degree level in a related subject, engineering, construction management, quantity surveying Previous experience in a leadership role with demonstrable experience leading and delivering in a complex project or programme environment (Construction preferred) Confidence and accountability in the work you undertaken and a desire to drive continuous improvement across the board Excellent commercial acumen and analytical skills Understanding and execution of NEC Managing Successful Programmes qualified (Preferred) Understanding of CDM Regulations specifically client duties Able to think creatively and solve projects, not afraid to challenge traditional ways of thinking in delivery Ability to work collaboratively with different people and levels across the organisation to get the best outcome for the business Risk and Issue management experience, with a willingness to take ownership of programme or portfolio level mitigation strategies Ability to shape your own workload, setting your own standards and delivering against your own criteria/objectives A broad understanding of our industry or have worked in a similar industry ie: utilities, rail, nuclear Excellent communication skills along with the ability to influence stakeholders and build confidence in your delivery Why Anglian Water?
