Logistics Administrator (085dm) – Heathrow- London - Circa £30,000 DOE Our client is a leading technology provider specializing in mission-critical communications within the transport and construction sectors. They deliver reliable radio communications and offer a comprehensive support network for their customers. Role Overview Reporting to the Service Manager, the Asset & Logistics Administrator will be responsible for the management, tracking, and procurement of assets across various locations. This role plays a key part in maintaining quality assurance, ensuring efficient asset control, and supporting operational processes for both service and project functions. Key Responsibilities •Asset Management & Inventory Control •Develop and maintain processes for tracking radio and wireless assets stored locally and deployed across the UK. •Provide accurate asset and inventory reporting to leadership, account managers, and project teams. •Conduct regular stock audits across multiple locations, including Heathrow, Manchester, and Somerset. •Ensure data integrity across all business systems, particularly in Salesforce Service Cloud. •Oversee the full asset lifecycle, from receipt to end-of-life disposal. Procurement & Supplier Management •Manage the procurement process, including raising purchase orders, securing approvals, and placing orders with vendors. •Track goods-in and goods-out, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with project timelines. •Maintain optimal stock levels to meet business demands while controlling costs. Logistics & Compliance •Manage relationships with logistics partners and ensure compliance with relevant documentation, records, and system updates. •Oversee the timely return of faulty stock to manufacturers or repair facilities, ensuring accurate data updates at each stage. •Monitor and manage asset warranties and ensure efficient stock turnaround. •Ensure compliance with company policies, contributing to the continuous improvement of asset and logistics management processes. Key Skills & Experience •Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role (warehouse, logistics, or inventory asset management). •Experience in a technology-driven environment preferred. •Strong understanding of logistics and procurement within a customer service-focused organization. •Familiarity with IT or desktop asset management is an advantage. •Knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud and Focal Point (by Access) is beneficial. •Proficiency in Excel and inventory management systems. •Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work under pressure. •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. •Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. •Experience managing a Goods In/Out process efficiently.
